Funky Octopus Lady

So this was a COMPLETE experiment, color-wise. I tried to stay away from my usual palette and go with colors I am extremely uncomfortable with, heh. Given that I started out really hating it, I'm pretty happy with it. I fiddled with it for quite a long time, and I just stopped, fearing it would look overprocessed. I left it kind of sketchy and well "dirty", sorta, for my liking... but anyhoo.

Not to worry, I'm aware that the bubbles suck. I am never drawing bubbles into a drawing again, lol.

I'm also assuming that since I like this piece a lot and worked super hard on it, that it will get zero attention lol. (SHE'S SWIMMING UNDERNEATH A BOAT WHERE INUYASHA IS SAILING, DOES THAT HELP??? lol)

But anyway....
I'm currently sort of obsessed with mermaids for some reason so... yeah. ^_^
